It’s another sign of Flatiron’s commitment to innovation. Vice President of Design Management & Innovation Alicia Lopez has assumed a key role with the Design-Build Institute of America (DBIA).

Lopez will serve on the influential organization’s new National Virtual Design Committee (VDC) Committee. As the leader of Flatiron’s innovation initiatives, she is a longtime supporter of 22bet sportsbook reviewdeveloping VDC and Building Information Modeling (BIM) technologies.

Virtual design allows Flatiron to get a detailed look at a project before it begins. It allows problems to be identified before they actually exist in the physical world. She received DBIA’s official certification in 2020. She is also chair of their Rocky Mountain Transportation Committee.

Her term on the new committee runs until 2024.
