At Flatiron, we recognize the inherent risks of the construction industry \u2013 that\u2019s one of the many reasons why safety is at the core of everything we do.<\/p>\n<p>Throughout this week, team leaders led discussions focused on many aspects that can affect safety on the job \u2013 from planning the work, hazard identification and managing change, to significant injury management, and finally, the intersection between inclusion and belonging, mental health and safety on the job. Flatiron&#8217;s project safety teams are also carried out several specialized hands-on trainings focused on high risk areas and incident reduction.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;When it comes to safety, our goal is continuous improvement, and we can accomplish this by continually developing our strong safety culture.
