Flatiron has begun work on the $27 million Downtown Estes Loop project designed to improve safety and traffic flow in Estes Park, Colorado.<\/p>\n

A collaborative effort by the Federal Lands Highway Division of the Federal Highway Administration, the Town of Estes Park and the Colorado Department of Transportation \u2013 the \u00ad\u00ad project focuses on reducing traffic congestion in this popular tourist community.<\/p>\n

The primary goal is to improve access to and from Rocky Mountain National Park by shortening travel time as well as reducing pedestrian and vehicle congestion through downtown Estes Park.<\/p>\n

\u201cFlatiron looks forward to continued collaboration with Estes Park and other project stakeholders,\u201d said Grant Johns, Flatiron Vice President and District Manager for Colorado. \u201cWe welcome the opportunity to deliver this historic project and to continuing our work with Larimer County communities.\u201d<\/p>\n

Peak construction activities will take place during non-peak tourist months of January through June and October through December. Project completion is slated for 2024.<\/p>\n
