Add that to a pandemic that has sent depression rates soaring, and we see that there is no greater time to take action to talk about mental wellbeing. May was Mental Health Awareness Month. Flatiron co-hosted a special event alongside the AGC of California at our Oso Parkway Project in Southern California. Flatiron Senior Vice President, Southwest Dale Nelson spoke on the need for change, astutely pointing out that safety and mental health are strongly intertwined.
