Amy Moore, Flatiron\u2019s Project Engineer in the Northwest Division, has been selected as the recipient of the \u201cYoung Engineer of the Year\u201d Award by Puget Sound Engineering Council (PSEC) for the year 2022.<\/p>\n
Amy was recognized for her excellent work as a project engineer responsible for supervising construction work on several major infrastructure projects, her leadership roles in the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE) Younger Member Forum, and her services as an instructor for the Fundamentals of Engineering Review Course.<\/p>\n
Graduated from University of Washington with a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering, Amy has been a very active member with the Seattle Chapter of American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE) Younger Member\u2019s Forum (YMF), where she is currently serving as president-elect. <\/p>\n
Amy joined Flatiron in 2017 as a field engineer intern and has worked as a field engineer on large scale infrastructure projects including the $200 million SR 520 West Approach Bridge North Project and the $100 million Georgetown Wet Weather Treatment Station Project.<\/p>\n
