Flatiron Construction Corp. As part of the Capital City Link General Partnership, FLATIRON led the design and construction of the northeast section of a new ring road around the city of Edmonton for owner Alberta Transportation.

Work began in May 2012 on the CA$1.8B project, which improved the safety and operation of the highway by reducing congestion and commute times throughout Edmonton. Running from Manning Drive to just south of Whitemud Drive, the project also included nine interchanges, two road flyovers, eight rail crossings (flyovers), and two bridges across the North Saskatchewan River — for a total of 47 bridge structures. It is estimated that 61,000 vehicles will use the ring road daily.
