{"id":4456,"date":"2016-02-01T20:41:02","date_gmt":"2016-02-01T20:41:02","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/flatironcon.wpengine.com\/?p=4456"},"modified":"2016-07-28T16:13:37","modified_gmt":"2016-07-28T16:13:37","slug":"district-manager-recognized-agc-washington-state","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.flatironcorp.com\/news\/district-manager-recognized-agc-washington-state\/","title":{"rendered":"District Manager Recognized by AGC of Washington State"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Broomfield, Colorado (Feb 1, 2016) <\/strong>\u2013 Paul Mayo, Northwest District area manager for Flatiron, received the Contractor of the Year award from the Associated General Contractors of Washington.<\/p>\n<p>Paul was presented the award at the AGC of Washington convention January 29, 2016.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.agcwa.com\/2016-agc-annual-convention\/2016-award-honorees\">According to AGC of Washington<\/a>, \u201cPaul was a key contributor to the AGC-led effort to <a href=\"http:\/\/www.agcwa.com\/posts\/3502\">pass a state transportation package<\/a> during the last legislative session. He spent countless hours working with AGC&#8217;s Government Affairs staff, meeting with legislators and testifying at hearings in Olympia. He also met with members of Washington\u2019s congressional delegation to advocate for a federal transportation package.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cPaul served as co-chairman for WSDOT\u2019s Design\/Build committee, working to improve the process. He has been actively involved in AGC\u2019s Next-Generation Task Force to help strategically connect with all generations of members. Paul currently serves on the AGC Board of Trustees.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Paul has a long history of leading and participating in the execution of major design-build transportation projects, with total contract values in excess of $2 billion.
