Broomfield, Colorado (October 29, 2015) <\/strong>\u2013 The Canadian Council for Public-Private Partnerships (CCPPP) honored the New Champlain Bridge Corridor Project in November.<\/p>\n The CA$2.15 billion project, which broke ground in June 2015, received the Gold Award in the Effective Procurement category of the 2015 National Awards for Innovation and Excellence in Public-Private Partnerships<\/a>.<\/p>\n \u201cThe New Champlain Bridge Corridor Project has set the gold standard for effective procurement with its procurement process conducted in record time for a capital structure of its size and complexity,\u201d said Mark Romoff, President and CEO of CCPPP, according to a release<\/a>.<\/p>\n The partnership of SNC-Lavalin, Flatiron and Dragados Canada is responsible for construction of the new 3.4-kilometer Champlain Bridge. Consortium equity providers include SNC-Lavalin Capital, ACS Infrastructure Canada and HOCHTIEF PPP Solutions North America. The project is designed by T.Y. Lin International, International Bridge Technologies, SNC-Lavalin and MMM.<\/p>\n
