Flatiron&#8217;s\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/flatironcon.wpengine.com\/project\/interstate-85-yadkin-river-bridge\/\" target=\"_blank\">Yadkin River Bridge project<\/a> in Salisbury, North Carolina, earned an award in the Transportation category. The <a href=\"http:\/\/flatironcon.wpengine.com\/project\/san-diego-international-airport-green-build\/\" target=\"_blank\">San Diego International Airport Green Build project<\/a> in San Diego, California, won in the Aviation category.<\/p>\n<p>The DBIA awards program recognizes exemplary collaboration and integration in design-build project delivery. A panel of industry experts selected the projects for demonstrating excellence in design, process and teaming, in addition to achieving budget and schedule goals and exceeding owner expectations. One project in each category will be named a National Award of Excellence winner at the DBIA Design-Build Conference and Expo on October 7 in Dallas, Texas.<\/p>\n<p>Flatiron, with a construction volume of more than $1 billion in 2013, is one of the leading providers of infrastructure construction in North America.
