\"Blue<\/a>Flatiron is working on a $57.9 million project for the San Diego Association of Governments on the Blue Line Trolley Stations project in San Diego, California. \u00a0The blue line is the most heavily used transit service in the San Diego area and has an average daily ridership of more than 50,000 people.<\/p>\n

The project consists of trolley station and transit center reconstruction including rail and railroad signaling renovations to the Metropolitan Transit System Blue Line Light Rail Trolley system. \u00a0Work includes reconstruction of 11 station platforms, reconstruction and improvements to track infrastructure and reconstruction of existing transit centers and parking facilities.<\/p>\n

The project kicked off with a groundbreaking ceremony in late July. \u00a0Work began in August with rail replacement activities. \u00a0Reconstruction of the Barrio Logan, Harborside and Pacific Fleet Stations began in September. \u00a0The project is scheduled for completion in February 2015.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
